Tours and Groups Sails

Join fellow sailors for an exhilarating day of sailing on the bay or along the coastline. Kick back, relax and enjoy the ride or steer and trim the sails under the guidance of a licensed captain. This is a great opportunity to experience the larger boats, meet other members and pick up a few new skills.

Lady Mariners

The Lady Mariners program is designed to sharpen boat-handling skills and increase on-the-water time for all female sailors. If you are ASA 101 Basic Keelboat certified you have met the pre-requisite. Several skills will be introduced on a 28′ or larger yacht in a supportive environment.

Night Navigation Clinic & Full Moon Cruise

Seasonal Sailing

Extreme Sailing Extreme weather comes but once or twice a year. Experience high winds and cloudy conditions, with a chance of showers. A licensed captain and six sailors will enjoy rough seas and howling winds while learning more about big boat extreme weather sailing. Dates and times TBD by rough sea’s; don’t forget to pack your foulies! Call or email the office to join our “24-hour notice” email list.

Whale Watching Tour

Join our seasonal offshore group sails to view the Gray Whales as they begin their annual migration from Alaska to Baja California where their breeding grounds lie. These whales may grow anywhere from 30 to 50 feet in length and live an average of 40 years. Their migratory route ranges from 10.000 to 14.000 miles round trip, which is the longest route ever recorded for a mammal. California Gray Whales can be found just a few miles off of Point Loma. Whale Watching Season runs January-March.
