Fun was had by all at the Harbor Sailboats Annual Opening Day Regatta. After a brief skippers meeting, members and guests took to the bay for a 13 mile race. Capri 22’s, Catalina’s and Beneteau’s made up the fleet. Racers arrived back at the dock for a 4pm barbeque and awards ceremony. Nine boats, sixty members and guests and fun had by all. Club Member David Christie defended his 1st Place title and earned his spot on the HS perpetual trophy for the second year in a row. Our two group sail boats came in 2nd and 3rd. Everyone took the helm and learned a few sailing tips from their USCG licensed captains Anthony and Matt. A big thank you to all for coming out and supporting the sailing club!
